Up for auction is a 1988 RARE Chevrolet K30 4X4 with a 6.2 diesel automatic transmission. Factory AC. 48,000 original miles. This truck was purchased new by Fulsom Prison in Folsum California and used as fire truck. I bought it and had it shipped to Indiana. It runs, drives, and shifts excellent. It has never been driven in salt of any kind. During the winter months it sat in the same spot and had one small oil leak leaving a spot about 3" in diameter when we pulled it out this spring. The truck is definitely as free of any rust as you will find for an 88.
