RB Collection presents this very tidy, beautifully maintained 1991 Corvette C4 Convertible. This excellent original car has covered just over 43,000 miles from new and has benefitted from many years of care in the hands of an enthusiastic owner. Always garaged and properly serviced, this classic red Corvette convertible presents in beautiful condition with excellent quality paintwork. The clean Carfax report backs this up as an accident free car with outstanding original paint and bodywork. 1991 Corvettes were the first of the C4 generation to wear the attractive "facelift" body style which featured a smoother, aerodynamic front bumper and the squared-off tail lights borrowed from the legendary ZR1. This car's body is straight and exceptionally tidy and the paint and panel fit are to factory standards. The car rides on its correct original directional 17-inch wheels which are in fine condition at all four corners.

The red interior is very good, showing only light wear on the leather and carpeting that is consistent with this car's low original mileage. The original white convertible top is in similarly good order and is clean, tidy and properly fitted. All interior electrical functions work as they should, including the air conditioning and original radio. This car has been garage kept and carefully used its whole life, so it shows none of the typical sun damage that often afflicts these open-topped Corvettes. Owner's manuals are included.

Mechanically, it is more of the same with plenty of signs of regular maintenance and no indications of abuse. When new, the 5.7 liter, L98 V8 produced 245 horsepower and a very useful 350 ft/lbs of torque. Thanks to the low miles and consistent care, the V8 still feels very healthy and the car drives exceptionally well. The chassis feels taut and well sorted, again reflective of the conservative use, and it appears very clean and tidy underneath with very good original exhaust.

This 1991 Corvette C4 is a wonderful starter classic. The iconic shape was the second longest running behind the C3. This later production version benefits from countless refinements over the early cars, but with the same great look and character. Few cars at this price point can match the C4 for its outstanding performance and style and we are pleased to offer this tidy, fastidiously maintained example.
