First things first. Any questions can be answered by calling Steve at 724-523-2947. I'm near Jeannette, Pa., zip 15644, or about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh (Steeler Country), and CASH IN PERSON TALKS. Please, no low-ballers or tire-kickers. I'm aware of what these are worth, and may be flexible on the price, but I can't give it away. Clear title in my name. Up for sale is my 1965 Chevrolet C10 pickup. As you can see, it is a short bed, fleetside truck. It has the typical rust as shown, the paint is fair to average, and I was going to do a "Shop Truck" type theme with it. I decided to leave it as it is, and it makes a great "canvas" for the new owner. You could paint "Al's Garage and 24 Hour Towing", put Texaco decals on it, antique or weather it for that "patina" look, or whatever else you might want. The body is pretty solid, but the floors were patched from the top with steel. The rockers were replaced, but the inner rockers look pieced. Could've been a better job, but the truck looks presentable. The engine is a strong-running rebuilt 350 with a mild cam (lopey muscle-car idle), Edelbrock intake, Holley 650 double-pumper, HEI distributor, headers into welded chambered mufflers, and turndown at the end of the cab. Sounds great, with a nice rumble that turns into a nasty growl at 5000-6000 rpm! Power is transferred through a Borg Warner 4-speed, through a new driveshaft, to the 12 bolt rear. The rear is an open, or non-posi unit with 4.10 gears, so tire smoke in 1st and second gear is quite easy to achieve! It has manual steering and drum brakes. I've installed new 3" lowering springs in the rear, and I was planning to install 2" drop spindles and disc brakes up front, but the steering isn't that bad. I have torn rotator cuff tendons, along with calcific tendonitis and arthritis, in both shoulders, and I still steer it! It pulls to the right when braking, and definitely drives like an old truck (except faster!), but goes straight and doesn't wander, meaning it has very little play in the steering. Don't get me wrong-the truck does feel solid with very few rattles, and handles like it should.The emergency brake works, and new rear cables were installed as seen in pics. I recently had a new windshield installed, put in new carpet, and a Pioneer Super-tuner AM/FM/CD deck with pioneer 6X9 speakers in the doors. The speedometer is not working. Not sure what it needs, but the cable is missing, so it could just be the problem. The gas gauge, wipers, horn, turn signals, and all exterior lights work. I've installed the typical oil pressure, coolant temp and voltage gauge trio below the dash. The passenger side window rolls up, but needs a little guidance toward the top. It is apparently off one of the guides. The heater box was removed, as I don't drive it in the winter, and don't like the look of them in the engine compartment.
