1968 Chevrolet C-10 Longhorn Additional Info:
Lowered Reserve..This truck was not a factory 4x4 . It was built by a Nationally known Monster truck mechanic /driver. All the 4x4 components are from a 72 Chevy Blazer .They were all rebuilt and gone through about 14,000 miles ago.The color is a 50 year celebration of the truck from Chevrolet Original factory color..The engine a 2003 LS SWAP motor had 83,000 miles on it when installed . Now has about 97,000 on it .Truck was frame off restored for the son of the original owner about 8 years ago.I have the original title and handbook and protecto plate book. Clear title in hand .Truck has power steering,Power disc brakes, Auto trans, Vintage heat and AC That works great .Blue tooth JVC stereo with usb port sounds awesome .Truck also has remote start .4 row radiator electric fan and runs 190 all day long . The only mods on the motor are the cold air intake and hooker shorty headers .The stock exhaust manifolds would not clear frame .Sounds awesome not to loud .Truck drives awesome, really smooth for the heavy duty leaf springs 3/4 ton setup. All the rebuild was documented .I can reveal the name of the builder to the new owner. He has some other builds featured in 2 magazines i have. There is a small bubble on pass door and a small slit 1/4 inch x 2 inch on driver side bottom cab corner under truck. There are a few chips here and there as the truck was driven. This truck is all original metal except for the wheel well covers on the inside of the bed and the tail gate is aftermarket. .Also the bed is real 1 x cherry wood .from the original owners wood shop . The truck was driven after restoration in the weather but only 13.000 miles in 7 years .I would drive it any were. There were only a couple thousand Longhorns built in 68 so it is pretty rare .Truck also has a Truxedo custom cover on it.Any questions please ask or call .I am working a lot of OT right now so leave message i will call back.I can do some texting but i am old school so bear with me .I can assist with shipping /loadin, Not the cost though I have bought and sold a few out of state .314 348 6629 Thanks Joe, i also have frame off pictures that will go with truck.Truck sold as is with no warranty Money due within 24 hours of auction s end And i reserve the rite to end auction early due to local sale if need be.I can do more pictures as well .
