1969 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Additional Info:

This car has 15,002 original miles on it. It has all of the original parts, (inside and out) excluding the engine and transmission. The engine is a newly built 427. The only parts that wereusedare the block and bare heads. All internal parts are new. There were only 2455 true SS Impala's built in 1969 with four speed transmissions and the SS package. Some of those cars had the 396 engine. This car had 13,900 miles on it when I started driving it. I have the original title when my brother bought it in 1969. He bought the car from the insurance company; the story they told him was this: The person ordered this car from Hallman Chevy (now Berglund) in Roanoke, VA, drove the car a few thousand miles, removed the engine and transmission, and collected the insurance money. (as stolen). The trim tag shows this car had the 427 option.
