What you are seeing here is one of the nicest resto mod builds on a c10 short bed pickup that you may ever get to own. Painstakingly built with attention to detail throughout and Draped in PPG Aloe green and arctic white it stands out in any crowd of vehicles.
At the heart of this beast is a very cleanly built 6.0 LS based engine with a full Holley dominator fuel injection system, a Texas speed cam, Texas speed heads, and Headman headers just to name a few. All of this correlates to 385 smile inducing horsepower at the tires.Backing up that power comes by a Texas speed 4l60E overdrive transmission with a deep pan and 3000 Yank converter to let you cruise down the highway at ease. Vintage air A/C & heat keeps you cool as you cruise around getting thumbs up from anyone you pass.
As far as the suspension & brakes go, at the rear lies a fully built mark Williams 9" rear end with 35 spline axles, a 3;48 gearset, full gear to gear locker and a 3 link torque arm coil over suspension, this truck will flat hook & book! At the front is a 1" sway bar, 2" lowering springs and wilwood 2" lowering spindles. Braking consists of massive 13" wilwood rotors and 6 piston calipers up front, 13" rotors and 4 pistons in the rear using wilwood hydroboost master cylinder setup this truck stops on a dime. This truck begs for you to push it into the curves and power through. The Wheels & tires on this truck keep you glued to the road with 18"x9 Coys up front and 20"x10's out back with Continental z rated rubber all around.
The custom interior certainly stands out on this truck. Using the same aloe green and white as the outside, the headliner and door panels share the same design as the contoured bench seat that holds you in as you hit those curvy roads. The dash was customized to house the Holley lcd touch screen display to give you all of the vital engine information you need all while the custom auto sound stereo kicks out all the sounds you want to hear. The power windows and one piece side glass work with ease in case you want the windows down to hear the rumble of the exhaust as you cruise along.
As for the body, many many hours were spent smoothing and fitting this show winning truck to get it to the stage that you see now.
