1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Additional Info:
NO ZERO FEEDBACKBIDDERS !I am listing this car for a friend . You will be dealing with him directl, he is not computer literate so he asked me to help him list it . He is a very well informed owner with greatknowledgeof his ca, and he will be able to provide a lot of information as to specific details of his car . He is a fellowautomotiveenthusiast and his name is Gar, he can bereachedat 516-987-5141 . This is an all original survivor with some of the best paperwork I have seen . I have listed /owned/sold a few high line corvettes for myself and other friends and this one must be in the top 10 I amlisting. I have personally driven it and feels ver, very strong ( I own a 72 LT-1 myself ) and with possible exception of s futurecarburetorrebuild to make it perfect I doubt that anyone would disagree as to theperformanceof this car . As 1972 brought the last of the LT-1 cars and the first of the Elkhart gree, combined with the last year for a chrome bumper car and the first for the actual VIN # to decode an LT-1 ( and big block that year ) in the car it makes for aninterestingpiece of corvette history . This car comes with a book of paperwork that showsownershipretentionto detail as to keep it documented for future history in the Corvette world . Even back then someone cared enough to keep all the originalpaperworkand documents as they had theforesightto know this would be a sought after car . Condition is remarkable as to thefunctionof the ca, everythingworks properl, so you will not be sorting through all the gremlins to make it work as it should . Interior speaks volumes as to the care a survivor has been give, the body is in greatshapeand should not be restored in myopinionbut rather preserved as a true survivor . Car has its all original body and pain, much new to themechanical s. Original proteco-O-plate . It is a wide ratio 4 speed with 3.70 rear . All original motor . When the car was judged as a 2nd place NCRS red ribbo, much of the deficits were corrected ( new heater cor, cigarette lighter /seat did notretractwel, one marker light ou, and headlamps returned to T-3's )
