MUST SEE!!!! This 1993 40th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a RARE find!!! It has been METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED and GARAGE KEPT. It is a 3 owner vehicle which has been loved by all three owners in its 25 years of life. It was purchased by my father from a collector about 6 years ago. The man did not want to sell but due to age and medical reasons, was forced to liquidate some of his assets. This was my dads dream car. It was babied, covered, and garage kept for 6 years. It has been religiously started everyday, and driven on Sunday afternoons. Since purchasing it, he only put about 5,000 miles on it. My father passed away from a brain aneurysm that ruptured in June of 2017, at the age of 72. This was not expected by anyone and I miss him dearly.
I have kept the car up to date with maintenance, maintained his routine like clockwork, but I feel he would want it to go to someone who would appreciate it the way he did. I have 5 small children... one of whom is turning 16 next month (son), and this is a difficult, emotional decision, but I cannot allow my teenage son to drive this car. He attends a special school about 4 hours from me and it is a winding drive through the mountains. He is a great, straight "A" kid but it is not a first car for a teenager! She has waaaaaay too much power. I am looking to sell to assist with my sons schooling costs. He obtained a partial scholarship to this school but I need the help with the difference of the tuition. The vehicle drives and runs 100%. It has a brand new inspection sticker, and starts like the day it was brought out on the showroom floor. The transmission shifts like a dream. I would be happy to take a video of it starting and running for anyone who is interested. There are not weird noises, knocks, or ticks of any kind. The tires are great, the top is easy to put down, put back up, and it does NOT leak. Just as a check, I had the local Napa check it out last week for any maintenance or repairs it may need and they said she is very sound and needs nothing. We had the inspection done at that time and it passed with no issues.
The body and interior are in incredible shape. There are no dents or dings or damage that I can see. In the pictures, you can see some of the reflection of the gravel in the driveway in the body of the car... this is just a reflection. I would be glad to take videos of the car in a different light to show more of the beautiful paint condition. You are also welcome to come view it and test drive with me. There is no flaking, discoloration, or dullness in the paint or clear coat that I can see. The interior is in great shape. The power doors, windows, drivers seat, radio are great. The dash is perfect and does NOT show any warning or maintenance lights, and the gaugesall show in good range. She is definitely above average. I believe this vehicle has never been in any accident. I can attest it has never been in an accident and the paint is original. I have included the VIN number in the listing so you can double check the Carfax report ~ it is spotless. The paint color is original and is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! She really is a head turner, no matter where you go. Every Sunday, I take her for a drive and I get honks at stoplights, parking lots, even going down the road. She is ready for a new home that will baby her just as she was babied with us.
