1950 GMC 100
NO RERSERVE - Over 100 Photos
Thanks for checking out this sweet '50 tail dragger. "Chester" is a nice little 1950 GMC Rat Rod that just oozes charm, and just fun to look at. If you don't like a lot of attention, then this is not the lil' Stovebolt for you, anywhere I take it, people just smile and wave, it is a cool little truck. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, it has plenty of patina, rust and old mix matched paint all over it, yep it has some filler, mostly on the drivers front fender, a Perfect Finished project. It does have some rust through on it, pretty self explanatory. The drivers floor has been replaced. The undercarriage is in pretty good shape, very good frame, no issues, structurally it is in good shape. I took photos inside and out, so you will get a very good idea what it is. The 230 Inline 6 starts right up, it does not have a choke currently in the photos, but I am going to have one installed before the auction ends, it starts easy anyways, but a choke would be better. When it starts up, it is very smooth, runs like a little sewing machine. It does not burn any smoke or burn oil currently, has good oil pressure, around 30 at idle, and 40-50 depending on how you are driving it. It does run very good and cruises right down the road. It is really a hoot to drive. I put a new valve cover gasket and side cover gaskets on it and the engine inside look very clean and in good shape, so I took it a step further, and just did a minor detail on the engine so it looks nice when you open the hood, it is a good motor so why not, it deserves it. Also has a 4 core aluminum radiator as well. This is a great upgrade, 5 speed manual transmission, which really makes driving a lot nicer. It also has a S10 rearend in it, so it does have 5 lug in the rear, and 6 lug still up front. It has Coker white walls all the way around, wheels are 15'. It also has rear air bags that drop the tail right on the ground, with inboard compressor in the bed in the vintage Ice Box, it does have a toggle switch, to run the compressor, and switch to lower and raise it. When you drop the switch, it drops very quickly, which is fun to do, got to watch your feet on the running boards though, it likes toes. The fog lamps do work, the spot lights are currently not hooked up. It has headlights, tailights, and brake lights, but no turnsignals currently. This diamond in the rough has earned every year's worth of character, and is a super fun drive. The air bags are filled with a compressor hidden in an old cooler mounted in the bed. This thing even has a siren, which just sounds awesome! While ugly in spots, it has the perfect ugliness if you know what I mean, mechanically he's pretty sound. The glass is cracked in the doors and rear window but both widows still go up and down. he's ready to be fixed up or enjoyed and driven as she stands. Check out all the photos to see her charm. Take a look at all the photos below, you will get a good idea of what it is. This is a 1950 GMC, which you don't see that often, pretty rare little truck, VIN and Title do match.

I have been selling classic cars here on eBay since 2003, 12 years now, with around 600 classic cars sold over the internet. What I love about these old cars, is that I get to own some of my favorite cars one at a time, I have turned this passion into a business, but for me it is an awesome time to enjoy the cars themselves. It has been such a joy to do business with people all over the world. I have sold multiple cars to many buyers all over from Europe, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Brazil, just to name a few. It has always been a pleasure, getting to know other car enthusiast all over the Continent, especially some that have become very good friends of mine because of our love for cars. I look forward to doing business here on ebay for many years to come, and look forward to meeting some other like minded classic car nuts like myself. If you would like to call me and talk about the car, that would be great, would love to help you out, if you want to call and talk about cars, it would be my pleasure, I am on the hunt for any Interesting classics, odd ball and unique vehicles. Please, come out and personally take a look at it in person, or send a friend or inspector, or transporter, always better if possible to see it with your own eyes, I am close to major airport, and easy to get to. These are classic vehicles, with lots of history, almost years old, so they are used, not perfect, they don’t have warranties, or guarantees, they are as is, where is, nothing else is promised, I can’t possibly explain every little thing about a vehicle in writing, believe me I've tried, lol, seeing in person is always best, I try to give an good description, and normally over 75 photos at least, so you can get a good gauge of what it is, and isn’t. Look forward to hearing from you, please give me a call, 503-910-2085 - Jason
