1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Additional Info:
Up for bid is a True 1969 Camaro Z/28. It is X77 code Norwood Ohio build Camaro. This Camaro still has its original paint, which really held up pretty well considering the age.The car is Daytona Yellow with Black Standard interior, and I don't think ever had a console. It was built the third week of December 1968, so you will notice it does not have a Cowl Induction Hood because they were not available yet. It also uses a 1968 trunk lid and spoiler, look how spoiler doesn't come all the way to the quarter panels. They were still using left over `68 parts. There is still X7 marked behind the seat from the assembly line.Someone painted the tailpan black at some point like a big block car.It is NOT drivable, there is no engine or transmission. I do have a DZ block that goes with the car, but its numbers do not match the car. The car is pretty solid project to start with but will need body work as I've tried to show in the pictures. The floors and frame rails are real nice, the shifter area is messed up from the car being drag raced whatever they had to do to make something work. There is a new patch panel for that area included with the car.The quarter panel wheel lips were cut for the same reason, to get wider tires under the car. The trunk will need work but is good in the usual places where the shocks come thru the floor. There is a rust spot on the lower right fender plus 49 years of bumps and bruises. The windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is good. The Brakes work on the car, there is a new gas tank and OEM 3/8 Fuel line to go with the car as will as some other new parts. You could probably drop an engine and trans in it and be driving it in a weekend. Please feel free to call or text me with any questions you may have (937) 658-2717The winning bidder is required to leave a $300 Deposit thru paypal Immediately at auction end with the balance remaining to be paid within five business days. The car needs to be picked up within two weeks of auction close. I'm happy to work with shippers but shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
