Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS Yenko Replica. This is a Frame Off restoration that is phenomenal example of a Resto Mod. It comes with Big Block Power, Muncie Four Speed, and 12 Bolt Posi. Not to mention the killer stance and upgrades under the hood. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When restored the body was pulled apart with each panel being worked and fitted before paint. When you look down the sides of this car it's straight as an arrow and the Tuxedo Black paint really shows it off. Everything has been covered in many coats of Tuxedo Black Base that's covered in Clear. It has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine that's slick as a ribbon. The Black Paint is accented by the White Yenko Stripe Kit. After paint new bumpers and other new chrome was installed. All the glass was reinstalled with new seals and gaskets and all the weather stripping was replaced. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of SLG 60 Billet Specialty Wheels with new tires, 18's on the front and 20's on the rear.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '69. On the inside it has the correct bucket seats and console with the Hurst Shifter, Wood Grain Accent, and Yenko badging. The seats are covered in the Black and White Houndstooth with the SYC on the headrests. Everything on the inside looks like new from the Headliner to the Carpet. When you look at the dash it has the radio delete option along with an added Stuart Warner Tach mounted on the column. In the trunk everything appears to be rock solid and it detailed with the splatter paint.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a Big Block 454 that we were told has been built to 427/425 HP Specs. This Big block is far from basic, to go along with the upgraded engine you also have the Billet Specialty Tru Trac System with Vintage AC and Power Steering. Dressed to impressed, it sports Polished Valve Covers, Fender Braces, Wire Looms, and Breather that sits on the Holley Carb. The engine is mated to the M21 Muncie 4 Speed and 12 Bolt Posi with a 4.11 gear. To keep it cool it has the Aluminum Radiator with Dual Electric Fans. The exhaust flows through a set of coated headers and duals. To go with Tru Trac this Camaro also has Power Brakes with Disc on the front. When you look under this ride it has new springs, brake lines, fuel lines, and fuel tank. Also, it appears the ball joints, end link bushings, and control arm bushings were replaced. Looking at the floors you'll notice a new trunk pan and 1 piece floor was installed. As for the frame it has all been cleaned, detailed, and looks to be rock solid with New Body Bushings installed when the subframe was out from under it.
