1960 Chevrolet Biscayne prior owner was a 78- year old Vietnamese man from Rosemead, CA. he owned the car since 1998. Original California car with zero rush. Floors and trunk are very solid. Still have some of the restoration sheets when it first started in May of 2001. A frame off restoration was performed in 2002. Car has always been garage kept. Color is Cascade Green Poly with all restored interior to the original factory specs. Seats, carpet, headliner is in excellent condition.Biscayne is equipped with the skinny dash trim along with the polished lower dash fascia trim anddeluxe steering wheel. The trim is in excellent condition with no dings. Body is 100% straight with the paint being in excellent condition. There are a few touched up spots by driver's door jam. All the car’s chrome including bumpers and all the stainless moldings are in excellent shape. Glass is in excellent condition. Window regulators from the vents to all four roll-up windows are in excellent condition. Doors front hood and deck lead shuts exactly the same way when this car came off the showroom floor. Frame and complete underneath is in very good condition. This Biscayne runs very strong with an original 283, 190 HP motor with a power glide transmission. Transmission shifts excellent. Car has the correct GM heater houses to the correct GM spark plugs. Car is equipped with factory correct Firestone whitewalls P215/70R14. Tire are in new condition. For this car being done 16 years ago and garaged kept it is still in excellent condition. Only issues I found with the car windshield wiper, radio, emergency brake andheater blower isn't working. Wiper problem is with the switch or single speed motor. Radio I believe needs to be replaced. Original speaker is in place, but cone is in bad shape. I believe emergency brake needs adjustment, all parts are there. Side air vents open and close just fine. Dome light, cigarette lighter, horn, turn signals and cancellers work even the glovebox light works. You're not going to find another 1960 Biscayne is this excellent of condition for this low price. Car would be an excellent investment as it sits. It would also make an amazing resto-rod bagged with some 20s and 22s. Picture shown of stock Biscayne is the car I'm selling. If your flying in from out of state to view the car I will pay for your plane ticket if the car isn't everything I described. I'm 20 minutes outside of Ontario airport and have no problem picking you up and returning you to the airport. I would also feel confident with someone driving this car across united states.
