1965 Chevrolet Corvair Additional Info:
Corvair convertible w/automatic trans for restoration. Basically a rolling chassis. See pix: body generally good with minimal surface rust on lower panels and only a couple small spots of perforation. Doors, door glass, hood, and trunk are good. Broken windshield removed and pix show rusted lower windshield track that will need replacement. Engine last ran 4 years ago so it is complete and not locked up. Of course will need complete overhaul for a quality restoration. No top. The top frame is functional but I will provide another, better frame with the sale. I have original seats; front seats OK with recovering. Rear seats pretty well trashed. Some restorers replace the rear seat with a Corsa type rear carpeted deck. I saved the door and rear panels so an upholsterer can use them to pattern new ones. Floor board has been replaced.
