1964 Chevrolet Nova Crome F-768 Additional Info:
This Nova was bought by my great grandpa. My mother remembered riding in the back seat as a child. The Nova has been in the family ever since it was driven off of the show room floor. It was my first car. I had to pass it on to my sister who didn't love it like I did, thus the poor condition. I was able to get it back. Unfortunately, I don't have the means or the know how to rebuild it.
There are a lot of extras that come along with the purchase of the car. New: brake drums, brake shoes, carburetor tune up kit, drive belt, and motor seal/gasket rebuild kit. There is also: a spare head and valve cover, crank shaft and oil pan, the original owner's manual and service ticket book.
This is a 4 door sedan. The keys for the car are the originals. There are some dings and scrapes and there is rust starting around the rear window. The locks work but are stiff. The glove box opens but I can't get it to lock any more.
The locking gas cap is the original that great grandpa bought from the dealership when he bought the car. The gas cap lock cylinder and wafers are frozen. The headlight bezel on the driver's side is gone. The driver's side mirror broke but is still in the car. I believe the jack is still in the car, but I'm not sure. Trim is missing on the front quarter panel. There is a crack in the windshield. The windshield wipers are disintegrating.
There is a 1980's radio in the dash. But somewhere in storage is the original radio, I have to dig it up. When/if I find it, I will try to get it to whom ever buys the car. Currently the brakes have frozen up. The Nova does not currently run. Folks, this Nova is a labor of love for someone who has the skills or money to put it back on the road.
