It was a off frame restoration with no shortcuts. The bodywork is remarkable very straight and the paint is beautiful. All Chrome is like new and the aluminumwas either buffed or replaced. The floors and trunk are rust free with No undercoating. This car was built by the previous owner and he spare no expense. You can tell by the quality and showmanship of the build. Now a little about the car, Front end all Powder coated, undercarriage very nice and no rust. A rebuilt 427 V8 12:5:1 backed up by a Doug Nash 5 speed. Barry Grant fuel system, MSD 6AL Ignition, 850 Demon carb, Dart Merlin Heads, Roller Rockers, Hooker Headers with Flowmaster all 3" exhaust. 12 bolt rear with 355:1 gears, Mark Williams axles. Center Line wheels. The interior is nicely done in black 66 impala SS upholstery. It has a power Mercedes cloth top. Factory power windows and also has A/C for those hot days. Rumor has it that John Van Zant from the legendary band Lynyrd Skynrd tore out the rearend while out ripen up the asphalt. The previous owner was close friends with John and the members of the band. They named him their #1 Big Fan, Big Joe Chesney. His wife said he loved this car and would have never sold it. He even named it "The Breeze". I do have the Magazinethat it was featured in.
