Up for sale is my 1989 Corvette. I bought this car about five months ago and it was a toy for all of that time. The car currently has 59,982 miles on the odometer and has had some work done to it. It has a 5.7 liter V8 and a 700R4 Automatic Transmission. The two removable Targa roofs do not leak.
Recently replaced:
-Rubber around both front windows that was cracked and deteriorating
-Power window switches that were starting to intermittently act up
-U-Joints replaced
-Antenna lubed
-Replaced front and rear brakes
-Replaced oil pump
-Lube and oil change with filter
-Replaced water pump
-Alignment
-New Targa top storage bag
When I bought this car, it was a 3 owner car, 2 of the owners were sisters. The individual that sold it to me had several other Corvettes and had no more room for this one in his garage. Right after I got it, because of its age, I took it to Corvette Masters in Orlando and had them go through it from top to bottom. The items above were all they could find that could use attention. The Bose Cassette Tape stock radio was replaced before I got the car with the Alpine CD radio in it. The reason I'm selling the car is because after owning it for four months and enjoying a vintage car for a while, I found I am spoiled with the creature comforts that are in my daily driver and I would like to move on to a newer car. This car does not need any work that I know of and is certainly more solid than other C4 Corvettes I have seen.
