This 77 Corvette is a complete, original, unmolested car in outstanding condition. The L42 engine is original to the car and runs beautifully. The automatic transmission is excellent. The excellent original paint shines beautifully, and the red leather interior is in outstanding shape. The tilt/telescopic steering has been rebuilt, the carburettor has a recent rebuild, a tune up, including new plug wires properly laced THROUGH the motor mounts and covered by the correct and original chrome shielding was just completed. The radio has been upgraded to a Retro Sound Blue tooth unit and the originalAM/FM unit will be supplied with the car. Everything works including the cruise control and the clock. New BF Goodrich TA Radials are mounted on the original wheels with the factory trim rings and hubcaps. The battery is fresh. The factory supplied T Top covers come with the car as does the original owners manual. Present owner (professional mechanic) has had the car for 3 years and purchased it from a local car collector. There's much more to a collector car than nuts, bolts, and tires. The history and story of the car are of equal importance. This car was sold new to a General Motors employee in Dayton, Ohio in 1977. It was equipped with Power Windows, Four Season Air Conditioning, Cruise-Master Speed Control, Turbo Hydromatic Automatic Transmission, Tilt-Telescopic Steering Wheel, AM/FM Sterio Radio, Convenience Group, Classic White paint, and Red Leather Seats. According to the invoice the car was manufactured for a specific GM employee. Said employee kept the car, driving it very little, untill it was sold to a car collector who rarely drove it. The present owner bought it out of that collection and has driven it frequently and, as a professional mechanic, has carefully maintaned the car to the very high standard this well preserved car deserves. It needs nothing in the way of repairs or upgrades-it is completely ready to be used.
