1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
The engine is in perfect running condition. It's a 632 CI Big Chief 1100 horse power Nitrous motor, fully built by Nelson Competition Inc Speedshop, located in Orlando, Florida. The engine alone produces 800 horsepower and it has a wet Nitrous shot of 300 horsepower. Bordix aluminum racing heads. Two Holly dominator carburetors. Direct manifold port Nitrous injection. The transmission is a 1300 horsepower rated powerglide with transbrake, but does not shift into gear. So the car turns on very healthy but does not drive due to a damaged transmission. I'm not sure what is broken in it, but it could be something very small, like a gear selector popping out of place.
Has a complete roll cage, two racing seats, needs new 5 point safety harness on each seat. The car has been fully aluminum tubbed in the rear. Four link adjustable rear suspension. Wheelie bar. A $300 16-volt high amperage racing gel battery. All-around aerospace technologies disc brakes. Front brake locking solenoid to do burnouts. The Nitrous bottle in the picture is not included in this auction. You are buying the car as-is. Also, car comes with a clean Florida title which gives the car an extra street value because it could be turned into a street grudge racer. This car used to belong to my uncle and by what he says, the car ran only in street racing and not on track. Selling for a reasonable price, considering the fact that the engine alone costs $20,000 new, not including the powerglide and all the other mods that makes it a dragster.
The car has two fuel cells, one in the front for a quarter mile pass of two gallons which is at the moment connected to the engine. And in the rear, it has a 7 gallon fuel cell that is not connected to the engine, but all the hoses are ran through the car and connected to the fuel pumps. This car has 3 Bary Grant high capacity racing fuel pumps, two in the back of the car and one in the front, connected to the 2-gallon fuel cell. This car needs a transmission repair, paint job finish and a few other minor touch ups to be completed. The rear bumper does not show in pictures, but I do have it and it will be included with the car. This auction has no reserve, so take advantage of the opportunity.
