1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Additional Info:
1969 Chevelle Super Sport
This is the real deal, It has the factory Tach, bucket seats, console, 12 bolt posi rear end, big block steering column and A/C. Can't be to many real SS projects with a/c left around. The car will need the following- they are rusted to where I would not attempt to repair- trunk pan (one piece),frame horn rusted bad, but I have an extra frame for it, core support rusted bad, floors I would do a one piece. The outside rockers look real good. Also the package tray has rust.
Car has two fuel lines and the tach reds at 5500 so I am pretty sure that it was a hyd lifter car and because it had air. Wheels and tires are nice. Plenty of tread left I would say 85% left. Both front and rear seats have been done by previous owner.
If a real Super Sport is worth an extra 5K over a clone of the same quality when done, and we all know it is. Then when it's done you kinda getting the car for peanuts.
NOTE- I am in process of getting the title put in my name. I should have a clear Indiana title back in hand around the first of the month. You will not be required to pay for the car until the title is back. but I will require a $300 deposit. thanks
4-22-18--yes the frame in the pic is included in the price. I once hauled a chevelle and frame on one trailer. I did this by making a wooden rack over the top of the car. frame would have to be stripped first so it will be light enough to lift up there. Just a thought as I know it's tough to get someone to bring it to you. extra rear end is a 10 bolt. I would bet my house it's a non posi.
4-23-18 I have received several offers most through email that range for $3750 to $5350. I realize no one wants to pay full asking price. But the price is $5850. When is the last time you saw a real SS Chevelle go down in value. I will hold it until it sells or I have time to do something with it. I currently have a two 70 Chevelles SS (LS5 and L34) with build sheets in front of it.
I will post when the title comes back from the state of Indiana- Again you will not be able to pick up the car until its back in my hands. The title is in my name, I don't know what else to say about it. In Indiana you send away for them they are not handed to you on the spot. It will be free and clear ready to sign over to you.
----note--- 4-23-18 I pretty sure I just sold the 10 bolt rear end for 150 He's coming in a couple days if its gone you may deduct 150 so the total would be 5700. thanks
