1953 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
This is a very original wagon. We are the second owners of the car. The original owner lived in California and drove the car into her late 80's, ( she did hit a few things on her blind ( passenger ) side..but the car is solid and very repairable. The original 235 engine runs well and a new clutch was installed and the transmission shifts good. The glass is all good with only a couple of rock chips except the drivers door vent window will need to be replaced. Some of the windows do not roll up and down and will need cleaning to work good. The brakes were rebuilt several years ago and need to be freshened up and bled. The brakes used to pump up when we first got the car but now just go to the floor. The rockers and body are solid but the rear floors ( just where you put your feet when sitting in the back seat need replaced) the front floors where you put your feet have some small holes but feel pretty solid. The rest of the floors are fine. The spare tire well was removed and a rust free one is included. The original gas tank is gone, however new reproduction ones are available. It has a rare factory windshield visor and a good heater. This is a great project that would not take too much to make a daily driver. It has a clear Oregon title, I would consider delivering it on the West coast for a fee. Call or e-mail me with any questions. It has a low reserve, just bid what you think it is worth to you and you will probably take it home. Thanks Mike 541-788-5756.

The tailgate and area around it is very solid. Tailgate open and shuts as it should.
