Original L82 car with Rare 4 speed manual trans (now has 383 Engine) 3.55 Posi Rear
One of 2060 4 speed cars for 1977 (49,213 total built) Even rarer with the L82 and Gymkhana Suspension Option that this car has.
A/C car but the compressor is not there. Has power windows.Has rear defogger option.
New 17 inch Rallye wheels with Redline tires (cost $1750)
The car runs, drives and stops well. Steering is tight. All lights work ect.
The body looks like it is mostly original paint and looks to be never hit. Paint is faded, checking and could use new paint but I like the look of it myself. The frame and floors are solid. some surface rust . The car was Zbiearted when new and it did a good job preserving underneath the car. You can see the Ziebart on the picture underneath the floor. The glass is in good condt. The hood is an aftermarket raised cowl type.
The interior is in ok condt, carpets were replaced . The seats have no rips but could use new foam. The interior could use detailing work to make it nice. Door panels are ok, the carpeted part is worn.
The original engine is long gone but a professionally built 383 stroker has been installed. It has Edelbrock Victor JR Aluminum head, Edelbrock Super Victor single plane Intake, Holley 750 Double Pumper carb. The fuel pump is a Holley electric. The block is a 4 bolt main with billet straps on caps. The crank is an Eagle Forged Unit, Eagle H beam rods and JE/SRP forged pistons. CR is about 10.5 to 1. The cam is a full roller and it has roller rocker arms. The oil pan is a Moroso street / strip style. It has Hooker headers and side pipes. Sounds great, nice cam lope at idle. The motor runs great and makes approx. 450 hp (maybe more) .Not abused, adult driven. Runs on pump gas, no problem. Also has a new aluminum radiator.
The transmission is a just rebuilt re built Super T-10 wide ratio with a Hurst shifter. The Zoom clutch and pressure plate and t/o bearing are new. (over $2000 in trans and and clutch) It has a Lakewood safety steel Bellhousing. Also included is the original close ratio Super T-10 trans.
It is a fun car to drive and cruise with. Lets face it, stock Vettes from this era are slow and boring to drive. You will really enjoy this one, it is fast and sounds awesome. Feel free to call me at 203-687-0501 for further details.
CT doesnt issue a title on older vehicles but I have a copy of the title from the person I bought it from .
