1968 Chevrolet C30 Tow Truck (Mater)

1968 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 C30 Additional Info:

1968 Chevy C30 tow truck, 307 V8, 4 speed manual with a granny gear, Posi rear, Holmes 400 wrecker body. New plugs wires, cap rotor, points, condenser. All fluids are recently changed, carb has just been rebuilt. This is a really cool truck. It starts right up every single time, runs like a top, no smoke, no issues. The truck goes right down the road, its a lot of fun to drive. It has brand spankin new wheels and tires that cost $1600 plus another $200 for spiked chrome lug nuts. The winch works great, and we have used it many times around the shop to lift heavy things, pull engines etc. The truck does have some rust, the cab corners and rockers are shot. the rest of the cab is pretty good though, the bed is obviously in bad shape but it looks kind of cool and rat rod-ish the way it is. The nose is from a 71 Chevy truck. All the parts to repair the rust are very cheap on LMC Truck. The frame of the truck is extremely solid, no rot. I really hate to sell this thing but I'm trying to finish a 29 Dodge Brothers hot rod and need to let some of the other toys go to be able to fund it. The truck comes with a Connecticut bill of sale
