This incredible 1969 Corvette original L71 Tri-Power is presented in a stunning RPO 986 Cortez Silver with black interior and a 435 horsepower 427 backed by what is believed to be the original Muncie 4-speed. It has been subject to a frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration back to its original colors and condition just as it came off the showroom floor back in 1969. The powertrain is numbers-correct down to each of the three Holley carburetors and the rest of the car was also restored with an eye to detail - each nut, bolt, washer, and stamping is as close to factory-original as can be found for a car priced this low. Even the factory assembly-line markings were painstakingly recreated torestore this gorgeous car back to its original glory. As with any classic vehicle, there are some minor issues for a buyer to be aware of:- Due to an unresolved vacuum issue, the headlights raise and lower when the engine is started.- Due to another vacuum issue, the wipers currently do not function.- The engine block is a 4-bolt main with the correct numbers stamped on it but is not the original engine.- The odometer is not currently hooked up, however, the vehicle has less than 200 miles since the restoration.
