This is a 1955 Chevrolet Step-Side truck with a little bit of history and background. Originally this truck was purchased by Southern Pacific railroad where it has been used regularly...right here in Seguin,Texas. It runs and drives very well. It was used by the railroad right up until the early 1970's.The widow that sold us this truck was the wife of a gentleman that owned this truck after retiring from the railroad duty.Upon retiring,he was bestowed this truck as a gift along with his pension. It is currently equipped with an updated 350 /V-8 engine and 4-Speed manual transmission. It being a Texas truck, is almost completely rust free.BFGoodrich radials all around with modern era wheels . This trucks exterior has weathered through the years to produce a very unique Patina of Bronze-Copper-Metallic in Color.Very unique to say the least. Many I have spoken to-have said shoot it with a couple of clear coats and keep the antique color intact.
