Iconic looks, bold paint, serious V8 power, and the control of a stick shift. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a custom and thoughtful build that shows us what happens when someone invests in quality. This 57 Bel Air has also just had a complete full frame off quality restoration!
It's hard to go wrong with a '57 Chevy. These coupes are an American icon, and so the ones done correctly draw extra attention at the car shows. That's why there was some time spent applying the modem metallic blue paint. It gives this classic the look of a serious street machine. Plus, you have great custom elements including the 15-inch Cragar SS wheels and the white side tailfins (this is important later.) And of course, on a Bel Air like this, it's important to get the brightwork correct from the freshly re-dipped bumpers, to the rocket-inspired hood ornaments, to the intricate trim. There's even a set of bright dual exhaust tips that serve as a little hint to some upgraded power under the hood.
The new two-tone white and blue interior is fantastically coordinate with the exterior. The custom seating, tuck-n-roll style door panels, and two-tone dash really will catch the eye of plenty of people. This has all the vintage style you love, but there are some nice subtle modern upgrades. This includes a knob-style AM/FM stereo with digital tuner and an LED dome light. And as you slip behind the upgraded wood and chrome steering wheel, the Sun Super Tach, auxiliary gauge trio, and the Hurst shifter give you that extra tingle of performance.
The Tri-Five Chevys were the dawn of the small block, but they were never given anything like this. It starts with a larger 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 (approximately 425 HP per receipts). And it has been further enhanced with go-fast goodies like a Quick Fuel double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum hi-rise intake, aluminum heads, upgraded pulleys, and a Champion aluminum radiator. And this whole setup is so fresh, the motor is still running break-in oil! This mighty motor feeds the long tube headers that add even more power as they connect to the performance X-pipe dual exhaust. It gives this Bel Air the proper sound you expect from one of these legends, but that's not the whole story. You are in complete control of the enhanced V8 and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the rebuilt four-speed manual transmission. Plus, with upgraded springs, traction bars in the rear, power steering, and drilled & vented four-wheel disc brakes, this classic has exceptional handling compared to its peers.
When a '57 Chevy looks this good, sounds this mean, and brings this much power to the streets, you know this is a special Bel Air. So don't miss out, call today!
