1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible Additional Info:

This is an extremely rare find of an original unmolested 2 owner (actually one family), garaged, rust free1968 camaro convertible with an amazing20 options and some real rare ones! The rarest part is all the options combined in this 50 year old survivorcar with mostly original paint and I have the original dealer invoice copy! Car was purchased by the gentleman's mother in law new from Cox Chevrolet right here in Fair Lawn NJ in March of 1968 and sold to the young woman in Saddle Brook NJ. Matt, the son in law, had gotten the car from her 12 years ago and a divorce has forced him to sell it. It was always well cared for as you can see and is an estimated 90% original. Car appears to be 60% original paint of it Ash Gold and 100% original Parchment interior. The options in this car are possibly one of a kind with this color combo! Options are:

Power windows (main switch works two fronts and only rear switches work rears so it needs a main switchprobably)

power disc brakes

tilt steering column

Rally sport option (hide away headlights and they work perfectly)

Convertible option

power top

auto transmission

fold down rear seat

custom deluxe interior

remote mirror

Temperature control fan (EXTREMELY RARE!!!)

tinted glass

positraction axle

wheel covers

rear bumper guards

center console

aux lighting

am-fm radio

factory tachometer

special instrumentation (console gauges)

If that isn't an impressive list of options then I don'tknow what is! Engine is the original 327 (matching numbers) with 90k original miles. It runs well but a tune up will be recommended to the new owner only because it was sitting for the past couple of years. Brakes are fine, trans shifts fine and everything works...EVERYTHING...back ups light even work! Drivers window switch works but rear windows are finicky from that switch. The paint is nice and presentable for a 50 year old paint job and I could make it look much better inexpensively ($400 paint correction) but didn't want to get into changing the originality of it before the next owner gets it. Underside is 100% original and super solid, obviously a garaged car most of it's life, as is the amazing interior. Look at the gauge faces, the dash board, the seats and console...they are all just beautiful! Conv top is invery nice shape. The trunk is absolutely amazing...check out the pics! How many of these do you think exist today? This is an extremely rare opportunity and feel free to call me at516-721-3951. I can text you a video of the car
