Purchased this 1940 Chevrolet Sedan in the early 1990's because it was super solid, with the intention to build a high quality Street Rod. Other projects have come and gone and never got around to this one. Now it is time to advance it to a new owner.
When we purchased the car, it ran and drove... but that was over 25 years ago. ( all were in dry storage ). Brakes are not operational.
This car is very solid. The floor, trunk, rockersand doors are excellent. It appears to have some previousbody work / damage ( see pictures ) in several areas. Pictures will tell the story of the cars condition. (No haters- The red / blue engine bay was that way when I got the car)
I do have some miscellaneous parts: Wipers, trim, ect. But I do not have any running boards.
A personal inspection is recommended and can be arraigned by appointment.
Car is currently located just out side of Cumberland Maryland, about 2 1/2 hours from Baltimore or Pittsburgh.
Payment terms will be cash or wire transfer only. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and the balance is due within 10 calendar days from auction close.
Thanks for looking and be sure to email me with questions. This is a great start to a restoration or Street Rod project.
