1969 Chevrolet C-10 C10 - Step Side Additional Info:
Thanks for looking at my ad! This is a clean titled true 1969 Chevy C10 Short Bed Stepside. It is NOT a cut down long bed. The truck was originally a military truck purchased and used in Everett, Washington. From the history I have pieced together it was eventually sold at auction to the Everett School District and used as a service truck. At that point it was painted the blue you see here to match their colors. I purchased it from a collector in Everett and that is where I got the information. There is badging that helps to authenticate his story in the truck attached to the glove box along with a serial number painted on the door jam of the drivers side. See the pictures for reference.
Things that I have replaced:
New alternator with updated electrical / internal regulatorNew fuel pumpNew Exhaust and mufflerNew Brake Master CylinderNew Thermostat / 195 degreeNew glove box insertNew flush mount side marker lenses (not in pictures but will be added before the sale)New front running light/blinker lensesNew Headlight switchNew Collector Plates (This does away with having to acquire new tabs in Washington)New set of floor pans (not installed but comes with purchase)
I have uploaded a video for your reference of it running.

The mileage is questionable as the speedometer cable is not hooked up. However, the former owner thought it was correct. It was converted to a floor shifter from a column shifter and is a 3 speed H pattern style that takes some getting used to. If I kept the truck I would change it out. The brakes work well for drum brakes. The emergency brake cable is broke and I just have not taken the time to fix it. There is rust in the typical places. I have replacement floor pans that I plan to send with the truck. The original green you can see inside the cab and is a cool color. All-in-all, it is a decent little runner that needs a good home with a little TLC! It would make a great shop truck, rat truck, patina truck, Military restoration truck or a good platform for a bigger build. Let me know if you have any questions.
Please make sure you ask all question prior to bidding. I would be happy to talk with you and answer anything to the best of my ability. Selling "As Is" with no refunds. Look over the photos for details.
