1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

Here’s your chance to own a piece of American Muscle Car History even though she’s a clone car.

Dyno Don Nicholson campaigned a car just like her back in late 61,62. This 1962 409 4 speed Belair has about 3,000 miles on the rebuild. The car was sold in late 61, original paperwork included, the late 61 409 block which is pre X block sports Ross forged pistons and a Z-11 425 HP camshaft. 690 heads were rebuilt with stainless steel valves, screw in studs and roller tip rockers. Factory original dual carb intake with factory carbs and dual point dist. A High Output coil was painted stain black to match original coil but produces a hotter spark. Desert 4 core radiator with factory shroud and stock fan keep her cool.

62 BW T-10 4 speed with factory correct alum bell housing and 3:36 rear gears and a rebuilt set of 4:11 posi gears included. Hurst shifter with re pop shifter handle that clears the factory replacement bench seat covers. New door panels, carpet kit and seat belts were added. Restored steel dash, cleaned gauges and zero out speedo during the rebuild, car shows about 3,500 miles. I purchased this car with 78,000 miles and then tore it apart. The frame is painted all bushings replace including body to frame, new steel 3/8 fuel lines installed, new brake system with dual manual master cylinder and disc brakes added to the front. A 2.5 exhaust system was added from front to back.

I started this project in 1990 and finish in late 2007 while raising a family moving and other projects.

I have cruised this car to Big Bear Car show, local shows in Ventura, Burbank and Simi Valley.

Now I am offering her up for somebody else to enjoy.
