1982 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

I'm selling a very nice, matching number 1982 Corvette. Best way to describe the car was it was restored as a body on restoration. The frame is in very good condition. The car had everything either replaced, rebuilt or resealed and the major components have been blasted, zinc primed and painted. Also, given the low production numbers, I doubt you'll see another one like it in your town. In most cases it's better than it left the factory. Some notes about the car:1. Color combination" silver/charcoal, they made 1,239 this color from the factory out of 25,407 Corvettes made-that's only 4.8% of the cars built. That's rarer than the "collector's edition" of which they made 6,759.2. It's one of only 905 to come from the factory with red cloth seats. That's only 3.5% of the cars.3. From the factory this car was equipped with P225/70R15 tires (only 5.932) vs. P225/60R15 (19,070).4. This is a matching numbers car-everything rebuilt to like-new condition (right down to the starter and alternator) and/or restored, except parts like EGR valve and those smaller parts that just wear out and need to be replaced.5. The paint is new.6. Carpet, seat covers and door panels are new.7. The car smells new.8. Weatherstrips have been replaced.9. Windshield has been replaced.10. Front and rear suspension are new.11. Brakes and E-brake are new.12. Engine and transmission are resealed with the components on the engine either replaced or rebuilt.13. Aluminum wheels and Goodyear tires are new.
Just a note: the car was born July 1982, about 3 months before the end of production and the end of an era (approx. 6,767 cars built are my car)-I have the original build sheet (gas tank sticker) and a copy of the window sticker from the Corvette Museum. Thanks for your interest.
