The truck is a 1970 GMC custom camper 2500 series 4x4 automatic with 103000 miles. Originally from the Washington state area I brought it up to Canada.
Ihad some rust repair done by professionals welding in new panels and body mounts as well as cab supports. The floors and cab as well as the box are now in great shape and need almost nothing. Everythingdonewas below the white sections on the truck. The white has been repainted with base clear and looks perfect. The chrome and trim are good but not min, very presentable. Glass is tinted and in excellent shape with a new windshield last week. Also had a new LMC dash pad and original scrolled seat cover installed. Floor mat is pretty good so I left it . All other interior is original and in great shape. The motor is a fresh and great running 350 that runs perfect and the trans shift perfect as well. The 4x4 is a locking hub system and from the feel of things its working good. Starts great, shifts great, rolls great and brakes great. All the electrical functions like it should... wipers-radio-signal lights-brake lights-gauges (lots of oilpressure) dash lights window cranks and door handles- doors close real easy with hinges and latches set up properly. High beams are not working I think its the floor switch. New chrome sills, dual batteries are in good shape. I blasted and painted up the 16 inch wheels and put some pretty good 16 inch tires on, and painted that heavy duty rear bumper grey. I should have gone white. There was a 2 inch narrow metal patch put in on the drivers side wheel well and left in black primer, also a few minor patches on the bed floor. This truck is now at the paint stage with some very minor prep work needed before sanding and painting. If that's your desire, I like patina
This truck comes with a true to the era 1970 warn winch 6000 lb. It will lift your house but I have not found the controls yet and can't test to see if it works. They are a cable control system that mounts in the cab. Thiswinch is a really cool extra on this truck and I would not even think about removing it. Itlooks to be in good shape.
I bought this truck because of its condition and felt all the repairs I have done were well worth the expense. Its now at a stage of doing the paint or leaving the faded patina look that is on it now. Everybody loves the truck just the way it is so I won't be going any further with it. Its a very clean and correc, great running 4x4 that has some cool attributes like the winch and tinted glass as well as the original style wheels . A lot of classics go through cycles and popularities and these generation of trucks are now starting to really take off in price.
I will always help out with the shipping and exporting but in the end its your responsibility and cost.
I will entertain serious offers and put a buy it now on ebay and I might consider something of interest on trade, however all deals go through ebay.

as forimporting this truck back to the USA it is very easy if you want to meet me at the border and self import it. Noborder charges and you take it from there. My fees are cost only, maybe 200.
If you have some one transport it back over, then there will be a broker charge of somewhere in the 400 range and of course thetrucking fees.
There are no leaks or rattles or funny noises or smoking issues coming from this truck .It also runs cool.I do not know about driving it long distances because I never really drove it anywhere except around the yard. I was told by the previous owner last year that it drove all over America and Alaska without issues. I would drive it to texas but that's your call.
