1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Additional Info:

OVERVIEW: Complete, stock OEM survivor, two owners, Nevada/Florida car, 121,000 original miles, white on black with "Bandit" trim pkg, straight, clean, dent-and-ding free, never wrecked, never modified, zero rust. If you're actively looking for an intact, unmolested Third Gen Camaro of this vintage, then you already know that they are getting increasingly harder to find.
PRICE NEGOTIABLE; ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED.
HISTORY: car purchased by current owner at a used car lot in Lake Worth Florida in Dec 2001. Used as a daily driver from 2000-2004, then locally as a pleasure car for the next 12 years. Only 3000 miles since 2011, always parked under a carport.
MECHANICAL: the car runs strong, shifts solid, and drives straight, with ice-cold A/C. No major fluid leaks of any kind. The stock 305 is definitely a bit tired, but burns little to no oil, other than what leaks down through the valve seals while sitting (a common problem on these cars, which this one suffers from). It’s completely OEM stock, and with the exception of the carb rebuild, has never been apart.
No electrical problems, everything functions as it should, including lights, interior lamps/gauge cluster, horn, wipers, lighter, stock radio, blower motor, power windows, power door locks, rear hatch release.
Tires (Cooper) are a few years old and have about half of their tread life remaining (rims are 15” not 16”)
Since 2011, all of the following parts were replaced with new; the stock Rochester Carburetor was professionally rebuilt in 2013 (all receipts available):
headlights
grill insert
hood insulation
after-market steering wheel
AC compressor with R134A conversion
knock sensor
PCV valve
EGR valve
O2 sensor
vapor canister filter
vapor canister purge valve
lower radiator hose
pre-heater hose
power steering pressure hose
front brake calipers & pads
front brake hoses
rear hatch motor
rear hatch struts
hood struts
power door lock actuators
rear shocks
coolant flush
battery
starter
Detailed performance specs as follows:
LG4 V8
9.3:1 compression
170HP@4400
250ftlbs@2800
4bbl induction
A4 2.73 rear axle ratio
CHASSIS/UNDERCARRIAGE: having spent it’s entire life in Nevada and Florida, there is no significant rust to speak of. The floor pans, torque boxes, and suspension components are all rust-free.
BODY: the sheet metal is straight and free of dents and dings. Paint is completely original, with no peeling or oxidation. There are chips/water spots on the hood, roof, and rear hatch, some of which were touched up years ago and have since faded. The front spoiler is not cracked, but does have its share of scuffs, bug stains, etc. All of the plastic trim, accents, and ground effects are solid and intact, but weathered.
The car does suffer from a sagging driver’s side door, due to spent hinge bushings, another fairly common problem with these cars.
INTERIOR: the vinyl interior is an 8 out of 10, with no tears (other than the typical one in the driver’s seat bolster), cracking, or stains. Carpet clean throughout, including bottom of door panels and rear hatch area. With the exception of a crack in the top of the driver’s side door panel, and two small cracks in the dash, all of the plastic trim is intact and not faded (windows have always been tinted). Headliner is excellent.
