1966 Chevrolet Impala Bigblock 427ci 396ci SS clone? Additional Info:
If you have been searching for a solid big bodied Chevy Impala to restore and/or drop a bigblock in and build an SS clone this could possibly be what you are looking for, First time ever offered for sale here on ebay is this 1966 Chevrolet Impala two-door hardtop wintertime fixer-upper, This is a 1 owner car that was owned by a gentleman who was stationed at the Millington Navel Base in Millington Tennessee and has remained there ever since, Never up and down salty roads or subjected to salty climates, Only 72,911 actual miles, Non-smoker (cigarette lighter and ash trays appear to have never been used) Also still retains all 4 of it's original T-3 headlights that these cars came with new, All numbers matching 283ci/2bbl/195hp engine w/factory air-conditioning (chrome valve covers and a aluminum intake w/4bbl carburetor have been added which are the only modifications), Powersteering, 2 speed automatic powerglide transmission, 10 bolt rearend, 97% rust free southern body with solid quarterpanels and clean wheel openings, The bottom of the passenger side front fender behind the tire has a spot rusted through and the trunkpan has 3 to 4 small spots easily repaired, 1 small spot on the hood, The frame and undercarriage are very solid, Solid rockerpanels, Solid door bottoms, Nice body lines and body gaps, Both doors the hood and the trunklid open and close fine, Original regal red car with black interior from the factory (See cowl-tag picture), Some of the original paint still remains inside both door jambs as well as underneath the trunklid and firewall, The original paint had become dull and faded therefore the trim was removed and a coat of thin black hotrod primer was applied, I do have the trim which is pictured and included, The front seat is missing, The drivers side door panel needs installing, Needs headliner, The passenger side inner fender needs to be put back in as the original had some battery acid damage, All of the factory glass is good with the exception of the windshield, Cranks, runs, drives and stops but has been off the road and not driven since 1999, Overall a neat father/son/daughter wintertime project to restore back as original? Bigblock 427ci/396ci SS clone? LS swap? Lowrider? Many possibilities with this one, Very worthy of fixing up as regal red is a beautiful color and this will build someone a very nice car, Possible quick delivery for $1.00 a loaded mile within a certain distance, Feel free to contact Paul at 901-219-9569 with any questions, Bidders with zero/less than 10 positive feedback must contact me before bidding or i will cancel your bid/bids, Bank wire transfer preferred for payment as it is the quickest and safest method of payment for both the buyer and the seller, If you cannot follow our payment instructions please look elsewhere, Sold in as-is condition with a clean clear Tennessee title in our name which has already been applied for, As long as the car is paid for it can stay at our place/inside our barn until arrangements are made to pick it up or have it delivered, Thanks again for looking and bidding.
