Up for sale we have a 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition. This a rare opportunity to own a low mileage one year only Collector Edition. 1982 was the last year for the C3, and this one is showing only a little over 24K miles. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Vette. It appears to feature the factory paint that came on it. The collector edition had the Silver Beige exterior that's accented by the Black Pin Striping. When you look closely you'll be impressed as the body appears to have no damage, and the paint only has minor scratches and nicks. It also has the factory smoke T Tops, and features the hatch back glass. The '82 model came standard with front and rear spoilers along with dual sport mirrors. A set of blue dot tail lights and chrome tips have been added. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15x8 factory Rallyes that were based off the '66-'67 Vettes.
Next, we will look at the interior of the Collector Edition. On the inside it's also done in the silver beige factory interior. Just like the exterior the interior appears to be all original and is in phenomenal condition. It features the inserts in the seats with the matching door panels. Looking at the dash all the gauges are working. Also, the radio is working along with the cruise control and clock. It comes with Power Windows and Power Antenna. The column is tilt with the Collector Edition steering wheel.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevy. Under the hood it features the original Cross Fire 350 engine. It's mated to a 700R Trans and factory style Rear End. It's dressed with a chrome AC Compressor cover, oil cap, and vent tube. The radiator brackets and distributor cover are also done in Chrome. The brakes are factory Four Wheel Disc that are Power. It also has factory AC and Power Steering. Looking under this Vette it's amazing. Everything appears solid with no visible signs of damage
