Update! We are actually selling this beauty for $2K less than just the cost of the parts and professional labor it required to restore it to this new level....(and that also does not include the price we paid originally for the car)-this is a California high desert car-extremely straight, never hit..not a spec of rust or bondo ever!
Nearly every single part on this vehicle has been rebuilt or replaced, except the original chrome bumpers, which are beautiful... the billet aluminum grill; the 305 V-8 was rebuilt by the previous owner -water pump, fuel pump, carburetor, etc are all new....we replaced the stock 200 M with a rebuilt 200R automatic overdrive transmission; the entire rear end-new gears, axle bearings; the entire A/C system-new compressor, receiver dryer; added a custom radiator with shroud and thermo-controlled dual fans; new windshield, restored the entire stock interior-dash cap, headliner, carpet, beautifully stitched bench seat; new power window motors and power door lock mechanisms; installed new Digital Dakota gauges and stereo system; 2" drop front spindles, front disc brakes, all steering and suspension components including new quick ratio steering box... all brand new;.....again, the body is 100% rust free, dent free, with original 2 tone patina paint, new steel cowl induction hood and so much more-(we have the near perfect original hood if you prefer the stock look)...this 36 year old beauty has been driven just 21 miles since all this work was completed....the entire underneath- including the frame and undercarriage and floors has been stripped and detail painted,,,,please look at any 78-87 El Camino driver for sale anywhere and compare those asking prices with this low price... most others are likely nice drivers, but they are being offered without much or any of this total restoration work that has already been done-the Conquista trim is in excellent condition...the one piece that had a tiny ding-we bought a perfect one to replace it-also has the rare top bed rails
