After completing the cross country tour back to San Bernardino California the car was given away to a lucky winner from Minnesota. The September 2001 issue of Hot Rod Magazine features the car in the magazine as well as on the cover. In December of 2000 Chevy High Performance had picked this deuce as one of their top ten cars for the year 2000 even before being purchased by Hot Rod.
