1972 SS 454 Chevelle. This is a true W code car… numbers matching. These are hard to come by and this car is beautiful. The previous owner did the ground up restoration on it and the odometer shows about 34,000 miles. Not sure how true that number is but this car doesn’t have many more than that on it. It was sold in New Mexico and has always been taken care of, there is NO rust on this beauty. Original AM stereo is still in the dash but I did add a stealth system in the trunk controlled by IR remote. Kenwood deck with all JL Audio speakers and amp. It sounds good J The car sounds good too. It has the original M22 rockcrusher 4 speed with bench seat. I have been told the interior is original as well. The headliner is new as they did not install the dome light but I do have an original dome light for it and it is wired, I’ve just never had enough courage to cut the headliner J. This car is registered with the Chevelle Registry and comes with a copy of the original window sticker. Car has the ZL2 cowl induction hood and has been revitalized in its original 036 Spring Green colors. I did upgrade to a Hurst shifter and Pertronix Ignition system but I still have the original Muncie shifter and GM distributor. There were only 1625 of these cars built in 72 withh the LS5 engine and M22 trans. I have won several car shows with this car but it’s time for me to move on to the next project J.
