1951 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
Here's your chance to own a awesome looking flatbed called "Lucille" she's a work in progress and is about 90% finished. I have built several trucks in my past 64 years but wanted to build a cool looking original flatbed different from the run of the mill full fender trucks that EVERONE seems to have lol. I have spent close to 2.5 years building on this project, all the hard stuff is done, and have put about 2500 miles on it so far. This is NOT a thrown together mess! every bolt, nut, cut, and weld was done, touched or turned by me. Chevy with GMC front end with an original grill guard and bumper fitted to a low mileage 1996 S10 Extended Cab chassis that was cleaned and painted with chassis saver black, power steering, all new 4 wheel power disc brakes, stock S10 fuel tank with custom fitted Silverado fuel pump and sending unit. She's silly fast with an 2001 LS 5.3 that has never ran hot with absolutely no mystery knocks, tics, whines, or smoke (one photo shows only condensation from muffler in 22 degree weather today 12/29/17) Professionally wired stand alone harness with ECM installed inside under dash drivers side. It has a 4L60e trans, with a 4x4 Blazer 3.73 posi, with all the go and whoa you'll need and drives like a dream and reliable, does have a few rattles but comes with cab seals two in which have been installed. does need floor deadner. Six way heated Blazer seats that do need to be recovered. No wipers, heat or A/C however the compressor is still installed. I custom notched and boxed the frame to accommodate the compressor so it's stays low and out of the way. Cab has rust in both rear lower corners I was going to fiberglass the inside of cab corners to keep the rust look, kick panels have been addressed as well as other areas above inside windshield frame. Gauges are dummies and do not work, I use a GPS for my speed, there is a Temp and Oil gauge in dash, I couldn't decide which brand of custom gauges to purchase. Bed has been reworked and shortened with new wood that has been faux aged, the rear of bed has custom fitted tailplate with frenched in led lights as well as marker lights on both sides, also has a hidden receiver hitch and a trailer plug with an HD cover plate, needs storage boxes both sides either bought or built (I was going to use custom made 15 gal wine barrels cut side lids for storage boxes). Has led front turn lights and halogen headlights with led halo rings. New glass in front and rear, good pass side, driver side has cracks but I like the old look myself. Has the normal scuffs, scratches, nicks, and dings from 67+ years of awesome patina, It also comes with two extra great looking fenders as well. Below is a few notable parts that have been installed thus far. Comes with original S10 wheels and P225/70 Michelin's on front with about 70% tread and new Taskmasters P235/75-15 on rear. Note: The custom American spoke wheels and tires along with wine barrels and rack in some photos in this ad do not go with truck.

This truck needs bit more for completion or take it to another level if you so choose, it's a great start to do so. Has a bench tune but could use a dyno tune. O2 sensors need to be dialed in. It's certainly a driver and I drive it almost daily now. Truck has the usual rust, scuffs, scratches, nicks, and dings that comes from 67+ years of awesome patina. I am only selling it because I'm needing more funds to build a new shop for my hotrod/blacksmith operation or I wouldn't be doing so in the first place!! If you're looking for a trailer queen this ain't it! if you're looking for a fun, one of very few custom flatbeds, that's stupid fast, question asking truck everywhere you go... this is it! Due to fraudulent bidding if you have "0" feedback you'll need to contact me before placing a bid or I will cancel your bid. Shipping is the responsibility of winning bidder, clear Oklahoma title and current tag. Buyer is purchasing "As Is" with no warranty implied or given. I'm sure I may be forgetting stuff and will try to update ad as I can, however I've tried to be transparent and describe the truck the best I could, please ask questions before placing bid, you may also call me at 918-240-4275 for more information, I can text more photos and even video of it running.
