1985 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
This car has 82,876 original miles to best of my knowledge. I bought this at estate auction from the original owner. I am the second owner, according to auction details. I have the original owner's manual with operating records from the 1990,s and it clearly shows low mileage and only limited usage. i.e. 56,623 recorded miles on 6/19/99. This car was garage kept with about anaverage of 5,000 miles drive per year. All original. Nothing added. Original rims. I am also including spare exhaust parts, still in the box. i.e. Cat converter, muffler and tail pipe. This car is fast and powerful and I have test driven it serval times and drove it for a 200 mile road trip. (runs smooth and has fast pick up with a light weight feel). Rated at top speed of 200 mph with 300 rpm. I have owned this car since 2012 and put little wear on it. This is the chevy 350 engine with a four speed overdrive automatic transmission. No tranny issues detected. Starts right up. Glass sun roof is removable. Glass hatch back still operates, but one of the lifter is weak and should be replaced. Engine runs smooth with an issue with fan on radiator. THe cooling fans comes on immediately and won't shut off, but you can still drive it without a problem. I replaced the radiator and relay switches, but still have the problem. There seems to be an electrical problem that surfaced over the winter. The battery keeps going dead, whenit is left in the car. So, something is pulling the battery down. I change the battery twice and still had the problem, so I take it out for now, until I figure out the problem. I replaced the alternator and that did not resolve the issue. It will need a battery drain test by a qualified mechanic. The seats are genuine leather and grey in color. The rugs are in good condition. All power windows still work. Telescopic steering tilt column works. Original radio still works. Horn assembly has a problem with broken plastic parts. I have thehorn button and all parts for the horn. It is not anelectricalproblem, but needsreplacementparts and reinstalled. The tires are not new, but are still nice. The fat racing slicks. Front end suspension works fine. Nice car if youlike open roads and a fast cruse.
