1950 chevrolet Special Deluxe 2 Door Sedan - 235CI straight 6 cylinder - 3 speed manual - 2,500 miles since complete ground-up restoration - This car is ready to drive or show - Every single part on this chevrolet has been either replaced with new or rebuilt - Starting with the exterior the body it was taken down to bare metal, the hood & trunk lid were shaved & 1950 pontiac tail lights added, then refinished in a very high quality yellow paint job. All chrome & stainless has been re-plated & polished. All glass has been replaced with new & a 1-piece windshield was added. The interior is a 100% new, reupholstered in the original style gray cloth. Trunk was also nicely finished. Every single part of the dash was disassembled & refinished, odometer shows 23K miles. A modern stereo was added underneath the dash. Mechanically the car is new, 235CI 6 was completely rebuilt with all new internals, the transmission was replaced with a rebuilt stronger 1954 needle bearing model 3 speed on the column, rear axle was also replaced and rebuilt 1953 axle with 3.70 gear ratio. The fuel system is all new, Tank, fuel lines, fuel pump. Brake system is all new, master cylinder, lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums, etc. Suspension is all new as well, shocks, front end totally rebuilt, etc. Wheels (5) are refinished chevy rally wheels with new tires including spare.
