1987 Chevrolet Astro Flames Additional Info:
Very cool custom Astro Van. It's an old school Hot Rod looking cruiser with very nice flame graphics. Paint is Rat Rod black. Flames- the RED are vinyl and all striping is hand done, looks great! The Road Devil.
Interior is a nice gray tweed covering the walls, ceiling, seats, set of extra seats, interior doors and dash. Flooring is a black shag. Has a stereo and things like wipers, horn. most gauges work. Has a sunroof that is watertight but does not open. Speakers in the top of the dash and in the rear door panels. Has air shocks in back.
Drive train is all stock Chevy. The 4.3 V6 runs nice, shifts nice. I've driven it about 1,300 miles since I've owned it, including a 500 mile + road trip.It had sat for a while before I got it so things I did since I got it are; front calipers, exhaust Y pipe, front tires, NEW door poppers with 2 remotes, had stereo installed, asst headlight and bulbs.
I'm close to Atlanta so easy to get in and out. Chevy Astro is about the easiest vehicle to do a V8 engine swap in- Research it but I've learned that all you need to do is change just 2 motor mounts, that's it!!! How about a nice little small block and some side pipes!!??
It is a FUN CRUISER, make no mistake you'll not roll up on another! I'd drive it home just about anywhere. Clear title in my name. Please read and abide by auction rules.
