For sale by Hawks Motorsports is an ultra rare 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. This ZR1 for sale is a rarity, with only 2,380 produced and only 685 in the Bright Red. Powering this beauty, is a 350 cubic inch LT-5 fuel injected small block V8 engine. Naturally aspirated, this bad boy puts out 375RWHP. The aluminum blocked Chevy is lightweight, agile, and fast! This is 1 of only 685 ZR1's built in the Bright Red color. The long and sleek lines scream bowtie muscle and are complimented by the factory aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in wide radial tires. The interior is like that of a cockpit, just kicked up a notch, with leather sport buckets. The design of this 91 Corvette ZR1 for sale makes this car feel like a rocket ship or an oversized go-kart! Options on this 1991 Chevy Corvette ZR-1 for sale, include: A/C, AM/FM radio, upgraded JVC CD player, glass targa top, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, anti-lock brakes, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, driver and passenger airbags, anti-theft system, leather interior, aftermarket Corsa exhaust, and aluminum/alloy wheels. This 90s supercar is a sight for sore eyes and one that you'll be hard pressed to find, especially in the up and coming years.
The reason for selling at such a low price for this rare ZR1 is is was involved in a minor accident. Still has a clear New Hampshire title and really does not need that much work to get it back to it's normal self. It will need: front bumper, fog lights/park lamps, hood (can probably be fixed), LH door, LH mirror, LH rocker, LH rear quarter panel. It idles at operating temp, runs, and lot drives.
In a past article in Corvette Market magazine, leaders in the collector car industry where asked what 4th generation Corvette would be the most investment worthy and collectable car. Every man on that panel of experts mentioned the Corvette ZR-1! It is hands down the most collectable Corvette that the common man can still afford today, tomorrow they may well be a play toy for only the wealth collectors to enjoy.
“The King of the Hill” was the buzz surrounding the newest super car from Chevrolet, and I do mean super car. The ZR-1 is known for its top speed endurance record, where the car went at speeds over 175MPH, non stop, for 24 hours, thanks to the enormous power from a never before seen LT5 all aluminum 32-valve 4-Cam V8 engine, that was designed by Lotus and hand crafted by Mercury Marine. The RPO ZR-1 package added $31,683.00 dollars to the base price of Corvette, nearly doubling the cost! Only 2,044 Corvettes received the package that year and much less the following year. The package also included custom wider body, Bosch ABS II-s Anti-lock brakes, dual 6-way power Sport seats with lumbar control, specially laminated Solar Windshield, 6-Speed manual transaxle, and massive wheel and ZR-rated tire package with Low Tire Pressure Warning Indicator.
