1959 Impala-MATCHING NUMBERS
Factory 3 speed- ORIGINAL Sheet-metal
Description – This is a world class patina car, if it was clear coated, it would look good cause the body is good.Selling for a friend, will be descriptive as much as I can, neat and HARD to find 1959 Impala car that has NOT been touched.
Original ownwer had this car and it was in a barn over 29 years, and my buddyfinally aquired it after 17 years of trying to buy.ONLY reason he is selling is, he sold his house and doesn't have the room, He is selling about 5 of his cars, will get them ready to sell in the next week or so, sorry but that is the truth. No room for all of his cars, so some must go, and this is the first to start moving.
ENGINE: Original 348 NEW rebuild with a, 4 bbl. new Edelbrock carb. (have the orginal carbeuator) Factory 3 speed on the column, shifts smooth, no worries.
Matching number drivetrain, ready to drive
Runs, drives, stops and handles great, drive.
Needs exhaust, but still can drive it
Has new brakes front and rear
BODY/EXTERIOR: - Has all the original body panels and glass, and trim. Look at the body gaps.
Doors, trunk and hood shut very smooth one finger to shut the doors.
Original floor pans and are very solid
Car is super solid bosy, hood has a little bad place around the front, but look at the rest of the body, very good shape
Tuxedo black is the factory color, NEVER been painted
One picture of rea of car, the trunk isn't shut, there is NO gap, just didn't shut trunk while taking pictures.
Has the 5 spoke wheels on it now that are in the pics, some pictures are with the other wheels.
INTERIOR: - All original interior as you can tell. Factory color is red/multi- color.
Everything works on the car, never taken apart
Original glass, looks good for the age, the driver door has a crack in the glass, but you can still roll up and down
Just look at the car, it speaks for itself, Not ever painted, or taken apart, ready to clear coat for patina look on a rare car, or redo the car, anyways, hard to find a 1959, that is not eat up and really even running.
He has a lot of other pictures of the motor build and just of car also, underneath is solid, only surface rust,NO where eat up with rust. He has had the car for years, but now, he has no room, all his carsare sitting in garages, under carports and even friends garages, due to his room now. He has been an car enthusiastic for over35 years.
Options- I can assist with a shipper OR if you set a shipper up, I will work with them to make it easy. Have done that many times, and went smooth.
Any Questions, please ask, don't mind giving my number, but a lot of people just call and talk about what they used to own or what they like to own, is only reason I don't put my number out. I check my email pretty frequently, unless it's after 10:00 pm, then I will check next morning. I'm an Early riser. Thank you for looking and interest.
