1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

NO RESERVE!This is a really cool looking rat rod chevy truck! It has beautiful patina covered in gloss clear coat. It has the look of an early 1960's street rod.Lots of recent work has been done to it this year: The engine has been replaced with a 1970 250 c.i. 6 cylinder from a chevelle. It is lighter and more powerful than the original. It has a new flywhee, starter, carburetor, battery, fuel lines, aluminum radiator, electric fan, thermostat, chrome water neck, new hoses, and water pump. chrome valve cover and air cleaner. It has new exhaust pipe, gasket, and glass pack muffler. It starts right up with no smoke. It is still running points ignition. It seems to run pretty good, I am sure that with some tuning, it will be even better!
The Transmission is a Saginaw 4 speed, it has a new custom shifter and new shift linkage from summit racing, throw out Bering and throw out Bering fork. I was told it had been rebuilt, but can not verify, looked really clean inside. All the gears are there. clutch grabs quickly.Brakes have been upgraded with a new dual circuit master cylinder, new front DISC brakes, with new rotors, calipers, hoses, bearings, seals and new hard lines on the stock straight front axle. They are so new that they aren't even broken in yet!Rear axle is from a later model s-10, so it has highway friendly gears. All 4 shocks are new GM delco and have been relocated to compensate for the mild lowering job, (some leafs have been removed ) so it rides nicer and softer than stock.
The interior has a freshly recovered stock bench seat with new padding. floors have covered with truck bed liner. New door latch strikers have been installed. The gauges, senders, and switches are new . A new turn signal switch and tail lights have been added. All the cloth wiring has been replaced with ne, modern wires.
Wheels are Cragar ss, Skinnies on the front, 12x28 inch Mickey Thompson street slicks in the rear. Since the engine is lighter than the original, and the front tires are narrow, it actually is pretty easy to steer! The bed of the truck has been "tubbed" for clearance, new wood in bed with a new gas tank installed under it.
This truck is over 60 years old, it is not perfect, it has dents and imperfections as one would see on a vehicle of this vintage, It has been driven up the street about a total of about 2 miles at about 25 mph. since being put back on the road. It has no tags/insurance/inspection, so I did not want a bunch of tickets! Expect that it may need additional adjusting/finishing/work. a "shakedown" run is in order for sure! Although not legally necessary, seat belts would be a good addition. It is being sold as is, no warranty of any kind. Bid only what you can and will pay for the truck. You are bidding to own the truck, not the right of first refusal! therefore, the $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. clear title issued approximately 20 years ago if memory serves me correctly. Regardless, title in hand! Buyer pays any additional fees over the deposit if paypal is chosen to pay the balance in full, deposit is due at the end of the auction. You are welcome to ask questions or to set up a time to come see the truck and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thanks for looking!
