1974 Chevrolet Corvette L-82 Additional Info:
This is a 1974 Corvette Stingray T-Top L-82 for sale. This Red “Hot Wheels” Corvette is an L 82 which was the first year they were made. The vin number shows this by the letter T. This is the last year with no computer and no cat converters. Paper certificate attached to gas tank. The motor is a 350 but not original. It had been worked on and has a light cam, high rise manifold and Edelbrock carb. New coil, plugs and wires, headers with Magniflow mufflers. Automatic 3 speed. Differential gear oil has been changed last year All 4 rear u joints on the 2 rear axles were changed last year. Synthetic oil used, Car had been repainted before I bought it at some time and had a few scratches and a small spider crack on the hood. Bumpers have been replaced and repainted last year. Car was rubbed out and glazed when bumpers were done with an excellent paint match. T-Tops and covers in good shape. New Mickey Thompson tires and Cragar SS wheels last year. Spare was removed. Car is factory air equipped but is not hooked up. Interior is black and drivers seat has a few tears. Tilt, telescopic wheel horn and lights work. Carpet is ok, power windows, limo tinted widows with original Astro ventilation glass, luggage rack. Factory installed radio not hooked up and all gauges work except for the tac because the input in the distributor is wore out. Other than that this is not a show car but can be taken to car shows. Several trophies have been won with this car and can be used as a daily driver in summer. Been to the Dream Cruise and DOES NOT OVER HEAT. Owned this car for 9 1/2 years and drives great. Also this car has been garage kept and covered and has NEVER been driven in the rain or washed with water for the 9 1/2 years I have owned it. I would California mop it, and cover it and I would uncover i, take it out and when I brought it back I would mop it’s again and cover it.Under fender wells are black undercoat and I mean black with no brown dirt from rain.
