1968 Chevrolet C-10 Long Bed Additional Info:
1968 Chevrolet C10 (Clear current Virginia title reflects C-20) rear wheel drive pickup. Drivetrain: 350 V8 just installed in the past year tt has a 350 4bolt main lunati bare bones cam and lifters with round 5k miles, 3 speed automatic transmission with oem column shift, 4.10 rear axle gear ratio. Factory drum brakes all 4 wheels-non power, manual steering, 8 foot truck box with sturdy floor- mostly original. Factory bench seat has been reinforced/recovered. Body repainted only once, in 2007 - not frame off. Truck runs very well with great throttle response across all rpm ranges, fires up after 1st crank start, no bog down and pulls a healthy vacuum at idle. Steering is aligned, brakes good, shifts well and 80% plus tread across all 4 tires. Truck needs to have exhaust extended in order to reduce noise but it is not illegal/unsafe. Truck still has current Virginia state inspection which should tell you that it is instantly roadworthy even if there are cosmetic or non-vital issues to address. There have been NO undesirable mods such as holes cut into dash/doors or roof etc - very classic. It has 4 2500 series wheels on it now but the factory wheels are included with purchase as well as the current installed wheels, those wheels are in the bed of truck in photos. The truck is solid and can instantly be driven but is 50 years old and isn't perfect. I can supply video of truck running and driving down the road to serious inquiries, more pics as well. Buyer arranges pick up and covers delivery cost of vehicle. TITLE/TRUCK WILL ONLY BE RELEASED AFTER PAYMENT TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE AND FUNDS AVAILABLE TO SELLER. SOLD AS IS- no refunds/return. I have provided everything I know about this truck's complete past 50 year history, please message if any questions/additional info and can exchange contact numbers to interested buyers. Thank you.
The year 1968 marked the 50th anniversary of Chevrolet's first manufactured trucks. The focus of most of the trucks released in 1968 was to use smaller-displacement engines and squeeze out the maximum amount of power possible. 1968 Chevy trucks were a part of the second generation of C/K trucks, which included trucks released between 1967 and 1972
