1967 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:
Up for sale a super clean 1967 Camaro that is styled after an old school cruiser. The build could have gone pro-touring or restomoded but the builder felt it should be old school cool. Keeping that in mind, they kept all the old school looks with the feel of a muscle, That simply is a Lumpy V8 with a 4 speed. This Camaro was a great start with an awesome basically rust free body and all the right pieces that just needed new life. The body was treated to a slick strawberry red metallic base coat clear paint job that looks amazing. The paint quality would be considered upper end driver to local show quality paint. Any flaws to be found would take a person to be inches away from the car and if they are that close you need to kick their ass. The quarter panels, doors and fender are all original sheet metal. All the bright work is beautiful and most it has been replaced. The old school continues on into the interior with a basic super clean black interior with bucket seats perfect dash with all new switches and buttons. Everything works as it should including heat, wipers and dome light. The drivetrain is simple but effective with a nice Vortec headed 350 with a lumpy cam, edelbrock carb, dual plane air gap polished intake and all the cool dress up parts. All the belts, hoses, vacuum lines and accessories are new. and The car sounds amazing through the long tube headers and three inch stainless turn down exhaust. The underside of the car is rust free clean and detailed, any panel replacement has been done correctly and looks good. The car drives amazing with new upper control arms, bushings, shocks and sway bar bushings up front and old school air shocks in the rear with new shackles and bushings. The Muncie M21 trans shifts like a Muncie should, it's old school crude and mechanical, but that what makes it so cool. To add a some safety it's got all new power disc brakes up front along with power steering. I would say 98-99% the parts on the hot rod are new or restored, this is no thrown together clunker. If your looking for a cool weekend fun cruiser to paly around with on the street or show it off this car is right for you, if you want a trailer queen move on to the next car. feel free to contact us for more info and to set up a time to look at the car.
