1954 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
Selling my kustom truck, a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup. Lots of work done. Real attention grabber. It was featured on Ol' Skool Rodz issue 42 Nov 2010, the Speedway Motors Catalog Cover and Website (speedwaymotors.com under "classic truck"), and in Velocity Channel's Lokar Car Show episode 1505 (@7:54). It has been in my family since the 1970s and I have owned it since 2000. I restored/customized the truck from 2005-2011.
It has had everything new or rebuilt. It has: Completely rebuilt 235 Chevy bored .060 over, Mallory dual point ignition, 3/4 custom ground cam, dual carb Offenhouser intake manifold, headers, vintage aluminum Wayne valve cover and side cover, fuel block split, finned aluminum ignition coil. Straight pipe dual exhaust with fishtail tips. Rebuilt 4 speed Muncie with aluminum casing, rebuilt 72 nova rear with 3.73 gears. Suspension original style but rebuilt and lowered with 4" blocks in the rear and a custom dropped axle with reverse eye main springs up front. Power disk brakes up front and drums in the rear with all new brake lines. New aluminum fuel tank relocated under the bed and new fuel lines. Wiring all new and added an electric fan. New wheels and tires.
Lots of custom body work done on this one. Custom 1959 Impala Dash and 1960 Chrysler Imperial steering wheel, 1962 Impala bucket seats. Chopped 4 1/2", shaved (door handles, hood, running boards, tailgate), suicide doors, frenched headlights and 1959 Cadillac taillights, etc. Truck drives excellent and can go anywhere today. I have about 1500 miles since completion. The truck was painted in 2008 and has a couple of scratches from taking it out, but are not noticeable. It has always been stored in the garage. Just needs some finishing touches- Paint door jams, glass, upholstery. I will include the upholstery materials I have (blue and white metal flake vinyl).
An immediate non-refundable deposit of $500 will be required via Paypal once auction ends. The vehicle is being listed locally and auction can end at any time. I can accommodate any appointments to view the truck in person before auction ends. Call (leave message) or text me at 951-378-1657 for more info.
