I bought this car with the intension of building a street rod, but the old girl is just too nice and original to tear apart. Maybe someone would like the car just as it is to drive and enjoy?
A very nicely done 1948 Chevy Business Coupe with a back seat added for the grandkids, there are seat belts added, front and rearfor precious cargo safety. The car was completely restored 2003/2004 a frame off restoration and driven sparingly since that time. This is a very nice car with asmooth black finish, the inside is finished with a Hampton Coach interior, very comfortable and tastefully done. This car has the original V.I.N. plate that matches the original motor V.I.N.Themotor starts right up, runs and idles smooth and quiet, no oil, or coolant leaks. The car rides and drives very smooth, the steering turns easily with no excessive wear at all The brakes stops the car straight, no pulling to the left, or to the right. All the gauges work, the turn signals work, the dash lights, head lights, tail lights, brake and park lights all work. The radio works, the horn works. The tires and battery are in very good condition. The charging system is still 6 volt, The doors open and close great, the windows go down and up as designed. All new glass and seals, the wipers work very well. The undercarriage is rust free, floor pans, body mounts and braces. I wouldn't try to represent this as a show car, but just a very nice and attractive old car that would fit in at any cruise in, or car show.
Thanks for your timelooking the old car over, remember to ask all your questions while the auction is live.
