1975 Chevrolet Blazer CHEYENNE Additional Info:

1’st there are pics in this listing of the front shock not on the vehicle or the front winch installed but they are on the truck currently…..still figuring out how to transfer pics from my phone but I will upload them when I get them….

You are bidding on my 1975 K5 Blazer “Cheyenne” that has been my own (Street Queen)-personal ride for the past 6 years. I hate to sell it but I just don’t get to enjoy it anymore. I got it in stock form after the previous owner had all the body work done and the paint job then I started from there to what you see today. This is the last year of the full convertible blazer from the windshield back they only made this body style for 3 years (73-75). It also has the factory roll bar just behind the front seats. The seats have all been redone (black cloth) and in stock styling. I also put Dynamat/Fatmat from the front firewall all the way to the rear tailgate and even on the rear inner quarters along with all new (black) carpet for sound deadening and heat soak. The rear gate has all new internals from LMC Truck and works like new now.

The Blazer got a new 350/5.7 engine & 700R4 Auto with overdrive (gas mileage) and a (bulletproof) NP205 transfer case all with less than 23K on the combo. I went with a brand new crate 350/5.7 engine with a few modifications such as a high flow water pump-aluminum intake with a Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. I put stock truck manifolds on it so I could use the factory AC brackets and solve that pesky exhaust leak that the headers had.

The factory AC has all been gone through and charged with R134 which blows cold on those hot summer days. It has a AM/FM CD Player along with some 6x9 truck boxes for tunes. It has true dual exhaust with flowmaster Super 44’s which sounds great. I put a set of LED Cyberdyne gauges to monitor the Voltage/water temp./oil pressure and they color match the truck.

The transmission internals some work to fit a non-overdrive equipped vehicle. I did some homework on which way I was going to make this all work because Chevy never made a 700R4 to hook up to a NP 205 transfer case. I figured out a way to get it all to work together when I contacted Advanced Adapters and they make a rear output shaft conversion kit ( Part # 50-6900 ) that you can switch the rear output shaft out so you can use the factory GM NP 205 adapter for the Turbo 350 transmission. There are a few other ways this could be done but I wanted this to look like a factory install (that was never made but they should have)! When I had my Transmission man rebuild it he also did a shift kit and some heavy duty internal parts. I also had him install a torque converter lock up controller made by TCI ( Part # 376601 ) this will take care of the overdrive working properly.

The last but most important piece of the new drivetrain swap is the NP 205 transfer case which was all rebuilt. This was the best transfer case GM ever made for us 4x4 guys. While rebuilding the whole case I switched the front 27 spline output shaft to a 32 spline from a Ford 205. When you do this swap it's stronger because it's larger and there are more options for yokes and custom flanges for driveshafts. The NP205 now has 32 spline front and rear outputs. The rear has a custom High Angle 1350 C/V Driveshaft on the rear hooked up to the 1 ton 14 bolt FF rear.

The Blazer has a 6 in. suspension lift in front and the rear has a Off Road Design Shackle flip with new rear lift springs installed. It’s rolling on (4) 35 BFG tires on 16x10 Ion Alloy rims along with a full size spare tire in the rear. I just installed (4) new nitro 2.0 shocks to dampen the ride. A matching set of 1 ton HD axles that have been totally rebuilt with all new internals with 4:10 gears installed. The front Dana 60 has Cross-over steering (Off Road Design) which is the only way to drive a lifted 4x4 and the frame brace was also installed/welded behind the steering box. The rear 14 Bolt FF rear is all new and a very strong rear axle which you never have to worry about. Both axles have new Braided brake lines and both received a set of polished diff. covers.

I also found a “old school” Warn enforcer front winch bumper which a new Warn 8274 winch was put in. Also a set of 6 in. KC’s like this truck would have had back in the day to finish the “old school” look. This is a very solid truck and a great retro ride to have for the whole family.

Truck issues:

The doors do have rust spots and could be fixed (lower section/skins) I just haven’t yet (driver is minimal-passenger is worst). I also have another set of manual doors that will go with the truck if you want them. This is a very solid truck and a great 4x4 to add to any collection. I also have a brand new “steel” cowl hood (in box) that will also be included with this truck because the factory one has the famous hood buckle that all Chevy trucks get. I also have the original 1 piece rear glass side windows after converting them to “sliders” which will be included. I also have most of the gaskets from LMC for the top yet to be installed. Lastly the front windshield just got a rock chip and started to crack near the rear view mirror recently.

A $1,000 deposit is required within 48 hours of purchase with a remaining balance due (cashiers check) within 7 days from purchase date (Payment must clear bank before it ships). Buyer can pick it up here or arrange a shipping company I will help you out as much as possible.

Please don’t bid if you are not serious. Will only sell to continental US bidders only. Contact me with any questions I will answer ASAP!
